WEEKS MEMORIAL LIBRARY OFFERS PROGRAM ON BEARS IN THE NORTH COUNTRY
The Lancaster Conservation Commission, in partnership with Weeks Memorial Library, is offering a presentation by Andrew Timmins of the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department. The program “Bears in the North Country: Helping Them Survive and Thrive” will be held at Weeks Memorial Library on Wednesday, October 18 at 7:00 pm. All are welcome.
Andrew Timmins is the Game Programs Supervisor for the NH Fish and Game Department. He served as the Department’s Bear Biologist for 21 years (2002-2022). He has deep roots as a field biologist and is passionate about educating the public about bears. In addition to an update on our bear population here in the North Country, Mr. Timmins will share stories and practical tips on how to foster coexistence between humans and bears.
