NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with RSA 31:141, the Lancaster Select Board will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, August 19 at 6:30 at the Lancaster Town Hall, in the auditorium, at 25 Main Street, Lancaster, NH 03584. The purpose of the hearing is to receive public input regarding increased water usage rates as follows:

Proposed Water Usage Rate for all rate classes (residential, commercial, and agricultural) will be $8.00 per 1,000 up to 1,000,000 and $0.50 per 1,000 over 1,000,000.

Proposed Sewer Usage Rate will be $8.00 per 1,000.

Base rates for both water and sewer will remain the same.

For properties that require a backflow prevention device, a rate of $70 per each test.
