NEW BUSINESS;

            Discussion on Martin Meadow Pond Boat Landing.

            Edward Samson had been approached by Bruce Ferguson of the Camp Owners Association about the conditions around the boat landing.  The Association has been monitoring the water quality and the littering that has been taking place.  They have put up a billboard so that things can be posted instead of them being put on the trees. The town has in the past put a barrel there for trash, but now with the pay-per-bag it seems that many of the local people are using also.  Edward Samson suggested that next year he would ask Wayn-o’s if they would empty the barrel on their way by when they go to do pick-ups in that area.  Another issue was that there were people who were also using the area for a bathroom.  There was discussion on putting up porta-potties and who would take care of them.  This was an issue that could be discussed with the Camp Owners Association for next year, there are several things to consider such as who would take care of it and who would bear the cost for setting it up and cleaning them.
